My Online Placenta Encapsulation Training Course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to safely provide placenta services for your clients. Within 2 business days of enrolling, you will receive an email from Teachable (check all email folders) with a link to access the course. There is no required testing or exams. Everything is extremely simple! Client feedback forms will help me determine your ability to encapsulate. To date, we have had over 400 students enrolled since offering the course in April of 2018!

 

          Course requirements include:

• completing reading material

• joining the FB support group 

• obtaining your Bloodeborne Pathogen certification via Bioloigx (an additional fee of $15)

• completing three placenta encapsulations with client intake forms​

​Reading material includes topics such as:

Risks and benefits to encapsulation, ways to utilize the placenta, safe handling, the encapsulation process, and making a tincture, common placental issues, genetic disorders, STD's, and much more.  The course is rolling, which means you do not have to wait to begin. This is a self-paced course that most people who are already doulas, taking clients regularly, will be able to complete within 6 months. However, you will have 2 years to complete the course. If you do not complete the course within 2 years and you do not ask for an extension, you will be removed from the classrooms and will need to pay again if you wish to certify. After completing this course, you will be a WCPS Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist! My course caters to those with a learning style like mine! The reading is short, sweet, and to the point. Birth work is an ongoing study. Even with the most extensive training, you will never know it all. My course serves to provide you with the most important information needed, to safely encapsulate placentas. The reading material is extremely easy to get through; and the videos will help serve as a visual aid for those who have never worked with a placenta before.

VIRTUAL GROUP TRAINING $350 

With our virtual class, you get to work with me or one of our instructors live on video as we simulate the entire process of encapsulation.  You will be responsible for reading through the course material via Teachable and completing your Biologix Bloodborne Pathogen training before class, and you will also need to have:

A capsule machine

Empty capsules

Pretzels (ground into a powder) or coffee grinds

Notebook and pen

​

You will be certified upon the completion of this virtual class.

In Person Training

In person class with me takes place in Prospect, CT (check the events page for a training with one of our instructors in a state near you) The cost of this training is $400.00. (This does not include the $20 fee to complete your Biologix Bloodborne Pathogen Course, which must be completed before coming to class)

 The length of the course will vary depending on how many participants there are. Expect to be in class for a minimum of 2 hours. In class you will work hands on with a placenta. You will learn how to safely encapsulate the placenta. Certification will be provided on site at the end of class. 

​

All supplies for class will be provided except for note taking materials.
