This crash course will provide you with information that will help you to support pregnant clients, by informing them about gestational diabetes before and after diagnosis. This course is primarily for birth workers who have little to no knowledge about GD. This course includes a combination of evidence-based information, personal experiences, along with a few opinions to get the messages across. Please use the information in the course to help your clients make informed choices about their care. The information should be used alongside care of a qualified health professional. You'll have 6 months to complete the course, but can finish in an hour!
