My name is Ashanti Rivera. I am a wife and mother of five boys, who decided to embark on a journey to empower and support women during one of the most important times in their lives. In 2015, I became a doula and placenta encapsulation specialist and opened up Red Tent Doula Services. In early 2017, I decided to re-brand and change the business name to Woman's Choice Perinatal Services.

I also decided to help make my community better by starting a non profit organization. In September 2017, Woman's Choice Charitable Association was born. My work is everything to me! Birth work is something that is in need of more people who care about moms and babies. I'm passionate about everything I do and I love giving back to my community.
